To investigate reports of increasing ISWAP activity in the Lake Chad basin, a local Navanti researcher interviewed 20 respondents across 10 towns in the Logone-et-Chari district, located in the Far North region of Cameroon.
The Far North region of Cameroon is currently experiencing significant food insecurity, a phenomenon that regularly occurs every five to 10 years. Current contributing factors to food insecurity include climate, rising population numbers, and Boko Haram-related insecurity.
